Wedding Talk

Let's talk wedding! Don't worry, I promise this is not going to turn into a wedding blog...I just want to share a few preliminary details with you guys.  We've decided to get married this summer.  Something relatively small.  I actually feel silly calling it a wedding because it's just going to be a big dance party.  None of that stuffy sit-down dinner or long introductions.  Just a few passed hors d'oeuvres, good drinks and better music.

I am a big party planner at heart! I have already envisioned the event my in my head time and time again. I immediately thought of yellow as one of the colors for the wedding since it will take place in the summer. Yellow is fresh and fun!  I also want to incorporate teal, turquoise and gray.

The style of the event is definitely going to have a vintage twist.  I have loved birdcage veils forever and a day.  I plan on wearing one for a small ceremony I will have with my family before we take off for the big party!

The Mr. has agreed to wear this 50's inspired tux...This makes me very happy in the heart!

As for the flowers and decor, I haven't decided yet, since I don't have a venue.  The place I am thinking of though is perfectly white and a blank slate allowing me to be as creative as I like.  These flowers are absolutely gorgeous!
